1. The short version
FieldPix doesn't use advertising cookies, doesn't track you across other websites, and doesn't sell data. The only cookie we set is the one that keeps you signed in to the web portal. Because everything we use is strictly necessary to provide what you asked for, we don't show a cookie banner.
2. What we use
Here is everything FieldPix stores in your browser:
- cs_session (api.fieldpix.org) — keeps you signed in to the web portal. Strictly necessary. Secure, HttpOnly (page scripts can't read it) and SameSite=Strict (never sent from other sites). Expires after 7 days or when you sign out.
- Browser storage on portal.fieldpix.org — remembers choices you make: light or dark appearance, which sections you've collapsed, your web camera and upload settings, and that you're signed in (a yes/no flag, not your password or sign-in token). It never leaves your browser except as part of the settings you save to your account.
- Browser storage on client pages — a client page remembers the name a client typed, so they don't have to type it again.
3. Other companies
Two outside services can be involved:
- Stripe — when you or your client pays by card, the payment form is served by Stripe, which uses its own cookies to prevent fraud. See stripe.com/cookie-settings.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics — if enabled on fieldpix.org, it counts page views without cookies and without identifying you or following you to other sites.
Our website's fonts are served from fieldpix.org itself, not from a third-party font service.
4. Your choices
You can clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time. If you block the sign-in cookie, the web portal can't keep you signed in; the rest of fieldpix.org works normally.
